Incident Levels

All incidents reported to Ugly Mugs are automatically assigned an incident level.

Incident levels are not assigned to reports individually. The assignment is automatic and based on the categories the incident is in.

We operate a traffic light system where alerts are coloured with yellow meaning lowest warning, orange meaning medium warning and red mean high warning.

This is not a perfect solution but the idea is to try to give our members an easy to see instant colour-coding that gives an indication of the likely seriousness of the report.

Red is the highest level and is intended to be generally indicative of incidents involving violence.
