Non-Payment / Fraud

When you report to Ugly Mugs you can choose "Non-Payment / Fraud" as one of the incident types.


What is Non-Payment / Fraud?


This is when someone does not pay for your services or otherwise defrauds you.


Examples of Non-Payment / Fraud  commonly reported to Ugly Mugs include:


  • Chargeback  Fraud: Paying by credit card or other electronic means and then requesting a chargeback. 
  • Counterfit currency: Paying with fake bank notes.


In cases where a person makes payment in cash and then steals the money back after receiving the service we normally categorise this as Robbery.


on-Payment / Fraud is classed as a medium level incident on Ugly Mugs.
