When you report to Ugly Mugs you can choose "Assault" as one of the incident types.
What is Assault?
Assault is causing physical harm or having unwanted physical contact with another person.
We deal with assaults that involve sexual behaviour in the separate category of Sexual Assaults.
Examples of Assault commonly reported to Ugly Mugs include:
Pushing
Slapping
Hitting
Punching
Spitting
Throwing items at a person
Assault with a weopan
This lists is not exhaustive. Any action causing physical harm or unwanted physical contact is assault.
Assaults are classed as high level incidents on Ugly Mugs.
